- Omid-X to Agamem-X (his father) and Esperan-M (his mother) -
Lifegivers, I have been visiting the city of San Francisco in California, in the US. My stay has been longer than I had initially planned, because there are so many interesting things happening in this part of the planet Earth. This email, however, is not about the city or its inhabitants, it is about the concept of GOD that is quite spread-out among people on Earth. The best way I can explain it, is to compare it to what we came to scientifically discover long ago as Creation Singularity.
Now this GOD concept on Earth has generated a number of distinct sets of beliefs among people, that they call religion. And each of these religions has a prophet, who has passed away long time ago. The prophets are more or less equivalent to our Creation Singularity transducers: they have interfaced with GOD and have transcribed GOD’s words and instructions into a different type of energy, that they call holy book and sacrament.
As I mentioned, the prophets have passed away long time ago, but there are large numbers of substitute authorities to sustain the beliefs and enable proper functioning of the religions. There are all sorts of names for them, such as priest, clergy, pastor, preacher, rabbi, mollah, and a host of other names, depending on the religion.
In the old days on Earth, these intermediaries had formidable powers, and could cause the removal of kings and princes, as well as the killing of people for various acts, that they call blasphemy. In many of the countries on Earth, however, they are no longer feared, as they have lost much of their executive powers.
A couple of the important roles for these intermediaries to this day, are to either assist the followers in accomplishing the prescribed duties from ancient times, or in many cases, give followers dispensation from fulfilling the laws of the religion. In one particular case, they can even forgive a sinning person in the name of GOD.
One peculiar thing is that most of these religions have an unmanageable number of practices and obligations, which many followers either carry out badly, or not at all. That is why you have so many of these intermediaries on Earth for every religion. People decided that it is easier to sustain large numbers of intermediaries to help or give dispensation than to have people carry out the rituals and duties correctly themselves. From what I understand, that is why these intermediaries are considered to be ‘public good’ and their acts as ‘public service’: they safeguard people from turning non-religious, something that the Earthlings thought for a long time would bring about the wrath of GOD.
One sad observation is that even though these religions were brought about to pacify the humans on Earth and bring them some serenity, I have not encountered a planet, including our own, where there have been as many civil and inter-nation wars as there have been on Earth in the name of religion.
Lifegivers, I will be leaving the US soon to investigate the rest of Earth, but I will definitely return, for I feel this country has many interesting revelations to make about life on Earth.
